The first in a series of exhibitions showcasing new work by some of the best gig poster artists from around the world.

Our first exhibition features new art print collections by Kevin Tong and John Vogl and will commence on the evening of October 13th at 7pm.

The show launch is open to the public so come along and be the first to see all of the work featured in the show.

John and Kevin will both be in attendance and prints will be available for sale for the first time. Our neighbours at Hola Paella will be open for the evening and food and drink will be available.

Filming for the up coming Scout Shannon directed gig poster documentary 'Just Like Being There' will also take place on the night.

Kevin Tong – 'Unfamiliar Objects'

(A preview of two of the prints feature in the show)

Based in LA, Kevin is held in high regard amongst his peers and is one of a handful of poster artists tipped for great things. The Flood Gallery is proud to bring him to the UK for his very first exhibition this side of the pond.

At 'Introducing' Kevin is showcasing his fantastic new art print series ‘Unfamiliar Objects’ along with two other Flood Gallery exclusive prints.

The ‘Unfamiliar Objects’ series is about creating visual metaphors for aspects of the world at large through modest objects that are old and largely out of use.

A detailed look at each print featured in the series will be posted soon.

Alongside the new print series we will also have some of Kevin’s highly sought after work available to buy throughout the duration of the show.

John Vogl - 'The Greenwich History & Heritage Collection'

('The Old Royal Naval College' & 'Vice Admiral Horatio Lord Nelson' the first two prints in 'The Greenwich History & Heritage Collection')

John Vogl runs the Bungaloo, a one-man illustration and design company from his home in sunny Denver, CO. He illustrates, designs, and screen-prints to an incredibly high standard. Since the Flood Gallery opened in July this year John’s prints have been among some of or our most popular and best selling. We are very excited to be bringing John over for his first exhibition in the UK.

At 'Introducing' John will be unveiling the final three art prints from the Flood Gallery commissioned ‘Greenwich History & Heritage Collection’, a series of work celebrating the rich history and heritage of The Flood Gallery's home town of Greenwich.

Over the weekend of 15/16th John will also host a live drawing session where he will be working on a new equestrian themed print to tie in with the Olympics events that will be staged in Greenwich next year. The Flood Gallery exclusive print will be available for pre-order.

Alongside the new prints we will also have a selection of John’s highly sought after work available to buy throughout the duration of the show.
