Coming off a year packed with large mural and public art projects, including work during Miami’s Art Basel and a collaboration with Jamaica’s legendary Tuff Gong Records, Colorado-based street artist Michael Ortiz will debut a new collection of original work exclusively at the Flood Gallery on 30 October, 2014.

Ortiz is co-owner and founder of Like Minded Productions, a Denver-based art collective and print company co-owned by fellow artist Jonathan Lamb. Ortiz is known for his street art aesthetic, as well as for his work with large-scale production and murals around the US and the world, and for his progressive use of mixed medias and hard-edge graphics.

The Flood Gallery will exhibit 10 brand new paintings by Ortiz, and will feature limited edition prints signed and numbered by the artist. This is Ortiz’s first show in the United Kingdom.

Ortiz and Lamb also will be creating a new mural in London to accompany the show (location TBD) and to showcase their talent for large-scale public art. This will be a fantastic opportunity to witness international street art at its finest.
